Alabama Unclaimed Money

I found an interesting post about Alabama unclaimed money and how much of the property is turned over to the state. Read the story here...

They report to update their database once per year, so it's important to search often.

The Alabama site adds:

Unclaimed assets are reported in the name or Social Security number of the owner(s) along with any owner information (if available).

The Treasurer's office will periodically update this database to include new names reported and to remove those which have completed the claim process and have been returned to its rightful owner(s).

Bloomberg Rakes In Unclaimed Money

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has been reunited with almost $76,000.

$75,900 to be exact.

The story reads...

But the most important part of this story (to regular folks like you and me) is the more than $8 Billion in NY unclaimed money, belonging to 22 million. people. That number is almost unbelievable, but I suppose when you factor in that NY is a large state, and of course is home to New York city which might as well be the center of the world, it starts to make sense.

Bottom line, 22 million of you need to get a move on, tracking down your missing unclaimed funds! The government has something that belongs to YOU and you just need to learn how to locate and regain control of your New York unclaimed money, because you can bet they aren’t going to go out of their way to find you!

It's hard to believe someone so famous could be due money as easy as he is to find. Just another feather in the cap for those who claim unclaimed money offices are not working very hard to reunite Americans rightfully due.

Unclaimed Money Blog

There is a new unclaimed money blog at http://www.unclaimed-money.us

I am excited about this blog and hope everyone find the value of claiming your share of the billions in unclaimed funds waiting to be made. I hear almost everyday how most people find it difficult to believe there might be unclaimed money in their name.

With odds 7 in 10, your odds are better finding unclaimed money than playing the casinos in Vegas.

I found thousands of dollars for my parents almost immediately when I discovered unclaimed money in 1996 after watching a show on Oprah. Most recently, I found my dad an additional $300 from a hospital visit he had for knee surgery.

Everyone should search! Wanna know more? Go to http://www.squidoo.com/unclaimed-property/
